Jonathan Pulleyn


Sales Director

In 1992 Jonathan joined Associated Training and Consultancy as a sales and management trainer and has developed an impressive client base, including blue chip organisations such as News International, Nestle, Atlas Copco Tools, Pretty Polly, Diebold, Sesame Plc, Threshers, Hallmark Cards and Crown Relocations; and in the public sector, Oxford City Council and Derbyshire Constabulary.

In 1998, Jonathan was delighted to be nominated as a finalist for 'Sales Presenter of the Year' with the Institute of Professional Sales. As a result, he has often been commissioned to help others develop their presentation skills, and learn how to capture the audience's attention and, importantly, keep that attention throughout the presentation, as well as communicate effectively the key messages.

Following promotion to Senior Training Manager and then Director of Training, he became Sales Director in 1999, allowing him to take responsibility for the profitable running of the classroom side of the business.

In his work, Jonathan draws upon his previous sales and management background in the well known media business, Pearson Group, among other organisations. With nearly 30 years experience in sales, he is regularly asked to deliver sales training courses and coaching in that field, carrying genuine credibility with his delegates. He also continues to be a key member of the sales team, working with a wide range of clients to produce valuable and impactful training solutions for Associated Training and Consultancy.

A licensed LIFO practitioner, Jonathan's memorable, down to earth and motivational delivery style has meant his many clients have returned for further development as their careers have progressed over the last 2 decades, commissioning Associated Training and Consultancy to help develop not only their careers but also the careers of their staff.

His passion for motor sport - in particular rallying - as a driver at both national and international level, has led to work with McLaren Automotive and other engineering businesses such as Trelleborg, Habasit Rossi, MAN Diesel and Techtronic Industries.

Jonathan is very happily married to Kerry and they have two teenage sons who, he claims, provide as much fun as motor sport did, but are far more expensive! They all enjoy living in rural North Yorkshire.
