The NEBOSH Fire Safety & Risk Management Certificate comprises 3 units: Health & Safety Management, Fire Safety & Risk Management and Practical Fire Risk Assessment.

This conversion course is targeted at delegates who have successfully completed the Management of Safety & Health (week 1) of the NEBOSH National General Certificate in the last 5 years. The NEBOSH Fire Certificate course is designed for managers, supervisors and any other personnel responsible for workplace fire safety, and aims to equip those completing the course to contribute to the conduct and review of a fire risk assessment & fire preventative and protective measures within most workplaces.

Why is Fire Training Important?

Not only are fires so damaging to buildings, contents and hazardous to the health of anyone in the vicinity, but the ease with which they can begin make fires amongst the most serious of health and safety risks and an area where training is so crucial. It is important for all staff members to have some level of fire training in order to make them aware of the potential causes and consequences of a fire taking place in terms of the damage and devastation it can cause and, specifically, how to avoid a fire starting in the first place.
