Who should attend?
Directors, executives & senior managers; the course is valid across all industry sectors but is focused on small to medium sized enterprises. For larger organisations the IOSH Safety for Senior Executives course would be more appropriate.
Each delegate will be issued with a workbook to assist them both during and after the course, which will contain information, guidance and forms to assist directors. The course is designed to be interactive, allowing delegates the opportunity to develop their skills with the support of the course tutor.
Our health and safety consultants are qualified and experienced professionals with an appropriate background in risk management and delivering health and safety training courses such as the SMSTS, SSSTS, IOSH Managing Safely and NEBOSH Environmental certificates. All consultants hold professional membership of the chartered Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
The course will be delivered over one day.
At the conclusion of the course delegates are required to undertake a multiple choice assessment and short project. Delegates who successfully complete the assessments at the end of the course are awarded an IOSH Certificate in Directing Safely.
