Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)

Who should attend?

The CITB Site Supervisors' Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) course is for those who have, or are about to acquire, supervisory responsibilities on a construction site.

Aims and Objectives

At the end of the course delegates should be able to:

Understand the health, safety, welfare and environmental health and safety issues relevant to their work activities
Understand their legal health and safety responsibilities relevant to their work activities
Safely supervise activities on a construction site

Key topics of the SSSTS course include:

The Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and relevant health and safety regulations

Identification of specific construction site health and safety issues including CoSHH and Work at Height etc.

Course Tutor

Our health and safety consultants are qualified and experienced professionals with an appropriate background in risk management and delivering health and safety training.

Duration

The course will be delivered over two days.

Certification

During the course projects are undertaken in groups and constantly assessed by the tutor. At the conclusion of the course, delegates are required to undertake a short multiple choice assessment. Delegates who successfully complete the projects and assessment are awarded the Construction Skills (CITB) Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme certificate.

We run the CITB/ConstructionSkills Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) course across the UK in Nottingham, London, Birmingham, Leeds, Peterborough, Bristol and Warrington. Unlike some training providers, all of our open course prices include exam fees, certification costs, on-site car parking and study book(s), as well as a buffet lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
