IOSH Managing Safely

This course is approved by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and is designed for those who wish to improve Health and Safety standards within their organisation.
The course will cover relevant issues likely to affect 'working safely' including:
- Define hazards and risks
- Implement schedules for active monitoring and analysing records
- Health and Safety legislation / Codes of Practice
- Active monitoring (Inspections, Checks and Audits)
- Procedures and techniques used in management reviews
- Accident and incident investigation
The course will also cover the main provisions of Health and Safety at work incorporating the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations.
At the conclusion of the course delegates are required to undertake a multi-format assessment. Delegates must complete their project and return it to the tutor within 10 days of the course completion date.
On successful completion of this course, delegates will have an understanding of the legal requirements for risk assessment and be able to identify hazards both generally and from their organisation's perspective.
Successful candidates will receive an IOSH Managing Safely Certificate.
