This health and safety training course is aimed at all employees within an organisation who wish to know more about health and safety and how it fits into their role. The course is designed to raise awareness of the importance of health and safety in the workplace; as well as highlight the importance of the role that every employee has in ensuring a safe and healthy workplace. The course covers the latest key issues and priorities in health and safety including:-

  • Health and safety legislation
  • Preventing accidents and incidents
  • Identifying hazards and risks (risk assessment)
  • The role of the employee in health and safety


    • In addition, we will explore common workplace hazards and controls including fire safety, manual handling, work equipment, display screen equipment (dse), violence and aggression, working at heights, hazardous substances (COSHH), and electricity.

    Course Material

    Each delegate will be issued with a workbook to assist them both during and after the course which will contain information, guidance and forms to assist workers in complying with their health and safety responsibilities. The Health and Safety Awareness course is designed to be interactive, allowing delegates the opportunity to develop their skills with the support of the course tutor.

    Course Tutor

    Our health and safety consultants are qualified and experienced health and safety professionals with an appropriate background in the health and safety industry and many years of experience in delivering engaging health and safety training programmes. All consultants hold professional membership of the chartered Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

    Course Duration

    An in-depth one day session that can be tailored to suit your needs.

    Certification

    Delegates will be awarded a certificate of attendance upon successful completion of the course.
