This course is aimed at people who wish to know more about Health and Safety and how it fits into their role.
The course covers current key issues and priorities in Health and Safety including:
- Main causes of accidents
- Key legislation
- Required regulations and standards
- Risk assessment
- Prevention
- Monitoring techniques
- Preparing policy documents
The course will also cover monitoring methods to define hazards and the importance of establishing systems for successful Health and Safety management will be discussed.
At the conclusion of the course delegates will have a broad view of what they have to do to meet legislative requirements. Delegates will be able to put Health and Safety issues into perspective and meet individual requirements.
