Fire Safety Training

The course is aimed at all employees who need a basic awareness of fire safety issues. It has been designed to give all personnel the necessary information, skills and training for them to be competent in basic fire safety.

The content of the course includes: -

  • A brief overview of fire safety law and fire safety legislation
  • Fire risks and fire prevention
  • Fire chemistry and behaviour
  • Emergency action in event of fire
  • Fire extinguisher awareness


    • The course does not offer a practical fire extinguisher exercise, but this can be added for additional cost depending upon facilities available.

    Course Material

    Each delegate will be issued with a workbook to assist them both during and after the course which will contain information and guidance. The Fire Safety Training course is designed to be interactive, allowing delegates the opportunity to develop their skills with the support of the course tutor.

    Course Tutor

    Our health and safety consultants are qualified and experienced professionals with a background in fire safety and risk management, as well as delivering engaging health and safety training. All consultants hold professional membership of the chartered Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

    Course Duration

    The Fire Safety Training course will be delivered over half a day (three hours). It is also possible to deliver two sessions in one day to accommodate a large number of employees which is split into two groups.

    Certification

    Delegates will be awarded a certificate of attendance upon successful completion of the course.
