CDM Refresher Training

The CDM Refresher course is designed to give those with existing CDM / CDMC knowledge and responsibility an update on the roles and responsibilities of the principal parties involved in CDM. We introduce delegates to the relevant legal requirements of each role and discuss current HSE recommended best practice. The course is aimed at anyone with responsibility for construction management including CDMC roles, and will also be beneficial for anyone responsible for construction estimation.

Key modules include: -

  • The legal context - Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007
  • Roles of the client, designer, CDMC, principal contractor and other contractors
  • Responsibilities of the client, designer, CDMC, principal contractor and other contractors
  • Project notification and site record keeping
  • Current HSE best practice


    • Course Material

    Each delegate will be issued with a workbook to assist them both during and after the course, which will contain information, guidance and forms to assist construction personnel. The course is designed to be interactive, allowing delegates the opportunity to develop their skills with the support of the course tutor.

    Course Tutor

    Our health and safety consultants are qualified and experienced health and safety professionals with an appropriate background in the health and safety industry and many years of experience in delivering engaging health and safety training programmes. All consultants hold professional membership of the chartered Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

    Course Duration

    The CDM Refresher course will be delivered over one day.

    Certification

    Delegates will be awarded a certificate of attendance upon successful completion of the course.
